College and Graduation Preperation Now

There are a couple newer groups of people beginning to move to “blogging” as a way to secure their futures.  I have done a few sites for each group and these people have been wanting to stay anonymous because they don’t want competitors to know what they are doing…..

Do you wonder who these people are?

Number one is parents with children who will be seeking scholarships and admittance into very sought after schools.  Why?  Colleges are wanting to know more and more about their potential student, how better to do that?  Here are a few things that a website can give you……

  • Highlight your child’s achievements in a more compelling way.
  • You can have multiple blog entries and then later delete any later.  Video blogs work well too.
  • Video the family sitting around talking about an award or performance, video a teacher talking about the student, and more.
  • Have any sort of documents on your website, photos of awards, news paper clippings, etc.
  • Password protect the pages so only certain friends or family can see what you are doing, you can then take the protection off when applying for colleges.
  • Video family vacations that are to somewhere meaningful.

The mind is the only limit to what you can do.

This leads us to the next group running to get a website……….  Well, the type A’s anyway……  Those that just entered college.  Why?  Because 2009 marked one of the largest college enrollments in history.  What does that mean in 4-6 years?  Record numbers graduating in 4-6 years.

You can put your website on your resume, highlight your skills, interests, extra curricular activities, charity work, anything that will show YOU off.

Fill out a quote form online and start preparing your future with a blogging platform and understanding how to best use it.
