Media Options

It’s one thing to do a video, it’s another thing to put it on your site and get somewhere with it.
Also, wouldn’t it be nice to personalize your site with other videos? The great thing with WordPress is you can actually “select” something on the web and import it to your site, as easy as “drag and drop”.
Websites should help save you time and make your site a powerful tool.
Did you know you can see your Twitter feed from INSIDE your WordPress Panel? So no need to go into your Twitter panel, save time. When you post a blog you can also send out a “Tweet” at the same time.
Did you know you can update your Facebook page just from your WordPress panel? So when you post a blog you can update Twitter and Facebook at the same time. Did you know you can “see” your Facebook feed from inside your WordPress admin panel. How cool is that? Save time!!
Podcasts are becoming more and more relevant, how easy is it for you to post one? With a WordPress site it’s a breeze!

I hope so! Obviously depending on the “look” you are after some of these options will vary. You will still be able to change page layouts and pick how you want to display your pages.
Remember that with websites you don’t want to try to reinvent the wheel…….. The “busier” something is the less likely someone will stay on your site. Why? Think about the constant “shouting” and noise in our lives….. Everything and everyone is vying for a piece of your attention.
So, you don’t want a lot of blinking, flash, obnoxious colors, etc. It’s okay for select pages but not everywhere.
Back to the page layout. If you were to take all I showed you in the other pages and put it together, below is a snapshot of what I picked for my site layout. I will most likely change it but as you saw, there are a TON of options, you can do what you want.
